Contract Management Support 101

NSITE’s Contract Management Support 101 Cohort advanced training program provides people who are blind with the technical skills needed for high-growth career opportunities in contract administration. Through a partnership with NSITE and NIB, participants in the CMS 101 Cohort training program gain the additional skills needed to fulfill a critical need for qualified specialists to close-out executed government contracts.

Qualifications

Please be sure that you meet all the following before applying:

• Legally blind preferred
• Intermediate Microsoft Outlook computer skills
• Intermediate Microsoft excel computer skills
• Highly proficient using adaptive technology such as screen readers, JAWS or Zoom Text

Cohort Outline

The Training outline consists of 8 weeks of learning that puts you on a path of being ready to apply for or excel in a current CMS role.

Optional CMS Closeout Specialist Practice Sessions, dates TBA. These sessions will be optional meetups in Zoom led by an NIB CMS professional who will share examples and lead discussion around the NIB Closeout Specialist role.
